So, yesterday, I got a few emails from Wordfence with messages that said:
A user with IP address 18.104.22.168 has been locked out from the signing in or using the password recovery form for the following reason: Used an invalid username ‘test’ to try to sign in.

This was fun, in the way that I learned how to stop this kind of attack by editing my .htaccess. file
But, cleaning up thousands of notification emails wasn’t part of the fun.

I don’t think it gets any simpler than this.
…because I finally got my damn Netflix Queue to show up in a static page in WordPress. (Well, the first thirty items in it, anyway. If I showed the whole thing you’d be appalled. I used this plugin as well.)
Finished updating this site to WordPress 126.96.36.199. It’s a bit of a hassle when you’ve customised core files, though.
Finally updated the comment pages to match the rest of the layout. Hurrah! Better late than never, I suppose.
Next plan is to finally set up that Harry Potter layout I planned on making a year […]
