It’s better than it was, but it didn’t turn out as I’d hoped. I used Behandla painting glaze from ikea which is a linseed oil compound with pigment. There were pebbles of pigment throughout which looked like Elmer’s glue, and stirring and shaking didn’t blend it in. I ended up breaking up the pigment particles while painting, and it caused some spotting in the finish.

I wonder if it was a bad tin, or if I would have gotten a better result from the beeswax Behandla product.
